Direct loading from the digital sheet-fed press
The Ventura MC Digital with the pallet feeder variant also allows the machine to be fed directly from the digital sheet-fed press. Between printing and further processing, only the pallet with printed contents is transported to the thread sewing machine. Further processing takes place directly from the pallet – without any re-stacking or transferring. With the flat pile feeder variant, only the transfer from pallet to feeder is added.
The Ventura MC Digital is the only digital thread sewing machine on the market that enables direct processing of the B2+ format. B2+ (530 x 750 mm) is the maximum sheet size of the HP Indigo Series 4
digital printing press, for example, which was installed for the 1000th time in February 2019. This means that no further preparatory steps are necessary for the printed content to be finished.
In combination with the features of the conventional Ventura MC 160
thread sewing machine, on which the Ventura MC Digital is based, the best possible book block quality is achieved.
Here you can find all these features at a glance:
- Simple and staggered stitch
- Servo-controlled thread tension
- Active cutting system for book block separation
- Thread heat sealing
All the advantages of the new Ventura MC Digital thread sewing machine can be found in this video
or listed together on the enclosed flyer
